Whether you have time to give, room in your heart for another horse, or simply want to help from home, every act of support makes a difference for the Diamonds in our care.
Every act of kindness helps a Diamond. You can make a difference in many ways — adopt, sponsor, volunteer, donate, shop our wish lists, or support one of our community programs. However you choose to get involved, your support helps provide the care and second chances these horses deserve.

Volunteer Your Time
New Volunteer Onboarding sessions are held the first Saturday of each month from 10:00AM-12:00PM and are open to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer. Please RSVP or call Sonja Reuter at 757-846-6076 for more information. This session is required prior to attending any standard volunteer meetings or events.
Donate
Every gift helps provide food, veterinary care, training, rehabilitation, and second chances for horses in need.
Shop Our Chewy Wish List
Support Diamonds in the Rough by purchasing much-needed supplies from our Chewy Wish List. Every item—from feed and treats to grooming products and everyday care essentials—helps us provide a safe, comfortable home for the horses and other animals in our care. Your gift is shipped directly to the rescue, making it an easy and meaningful way to help our rescued animals heal, thrive, and feel loved.

Earn Service Hours
Earn community service hours while making a meaningful difference at Diamonds in the Rough Equine Rescue. Volunteer opportunities are available for students and members of organizations such as 4-H, Beta Club, FFA, and National Honor Society who need to complete service-hour requirements.
