Sponsoring lets you make a direct impact—even if you can’t adopt or volunteer. Your monthly gift helps cover feed, hay, and daily care (about $10/day or ~$300/month per horse), plus rehab needs. Vet care and supplements vary by horse, but no horse ever goes without.

New Volunteer Onboarding sessions are held the first Saturday of each month from 10:00AM-12:00PM and are open to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer. Please RSVP or call Sonja Reuter at 757-846-6076 for more information.  This session is required prior to attending any standard volunteer meetings or events.

Earn community service hours while making a meaningful difference at Diamonds in the Rough Equine Rescue. Volunteer opportunities are available for students and members of organizations such as 4-H, Beta Club, FFA, and National Honor Society who need to complete service-hour requirements.
